The Echo Show 8 is a smart screen, which basically means you can bark orders at it, but along with being able to do things like set timers, play music, and look up the weather, you can also use it to play videos, and even make video calls. It’s a device that can be used in a massive number of ways, and that means it’s one that you’re likely to use every single day, and that’s what you want from any purchase like this.
The 8-inch HD screen makes a surprisingly good way to watch TV too, but we love having ours in the kitchen. Being able to bring up recipe videos to follow along with is a huge help if you’re trying to master a new dish or just get some inspiration. The video calls are amazing too, and you can make and take them without ever using your hands.
