Have you ever had so many things to do that you mix up some of the jobs in your mind? Well, Amanda Balionis confessed that she just had one of those days, and it made her sweat. The CBS Sports reporter is one of the leading commentators in the network. And that means that she wears many hats in the firm. She covers both golf & the NFL. But today wasn’t a day she was covering either, as she had a weekend off. But just understanding the complexity of her roles put her under a lot of pressure. In her latest story, Balionis confessed to the fans, “Had the weekend off this weekend. Which means, last night I had my traditional work-coded nightmares. This time, it was golf & football. Justin Herbert was playing on the PGA Tour and in his NFL game. And for some reason, every time he was on the golf course, I couldn’t remember that he was also the starting QB for the Chargers.” “So I kept making jokes to him about the game, saying, ‘Whoever’s playing the Chargers, better watch out, they’re not going to win against the Chargers QB?’ who was Justin Herbert… But I couldn’t remember that as I was talking to Justin Herbert, the golfer. And it was just, once again, stressed out over not being prepared, and my brain just not wanting to cooperate, and I woke up in a full sweat.” ADVERTISEMENT Despite having her weekend off, Balionis confessed that she will be at SoFi Stadium to cover the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday night. But as she was taking some time off from both sports for most of the weekend, her subconscious must have raised doubts about her preparedness for the match. That’s what Balionis also confirmed, as she revealed that she was stressed because of not being prepared. As adept as she is at her job, it’s interesting to know that even she gets the sweats before a big game. And it’s not like Justin Herbert has not played golf in the past. Having been raised in a family that loved the sport, he was always encouraged to enjoy it. In fact, he has also participated in many FamAM, celebrity, & Pro-AM events. That might also be one of the reasons why Balionis could relate to Herbert so well as a golfer. In another story, Balionis said, “A tradition unlike any other: every time I have a weekend off, I have a horrific work nightmare 😂. This one?
