EXCLUSIVE: Actress Ally Maki has signed with Paradigm for representation. Most recently, Maki was a series regular on Apple TV’s The Big Door Prize, opposite Chris O’Dowd. She recurred on HBO Max’s Emmy-winning comedy Hacks across its first two seasons and has also been seen in Freeform’s Marvel series Cloak & Dagger, TBS’s Wrecked, and Netflix’s Dear White People. On the feature side, Maki starred opposite Justin H. Min and Sherry Cola in Randall Park’s directorial debut Shortcomings, which premiered at Sundance and was released by Sony Pictures Classics in 2023. She also starred in the critically acclaimed Seagrass, winner of the FIPRESCI Prize upon its debut at the Toronto Film Festival, and voiced Giggle McDimples in Pixar’s Toy Story 4. Beyond acting, Maki is an advocate for representation of diverse voices in Hollywood and was selected for the Gold House A100 List of most impactful leaders in the Asian community in 2021. She is also the founder of Asian American Girl Club, an apparel and social impact brand dedicated to redefining what it means to be a modern Asian American woman.
