Telugu star Nagarjuna Akkikeni’s 1989 blockbuster Shiva is ready to mark its premiere in the theatres again on November 14. The crime action, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, is dubbed as a cult classic thanks to Nagarjuna’s fiery performance, powerful dialogues and high-octane action sequences. Now, after 36 years, Shiva is re-releasing on the big screens, that too, in 4K quality. On the special occasion, Allu Arjun has shared a video on X, giving a shoutout to the film as well as Nagarjuna. Allu Arjun said, “It has been almost 36 years since the release of our movie Shiva. This film is one of the most iconic films of Telugu cinema and the Indian film industry ever. It has changed the course of Indian cinema. It is coming up with all the new technology with Dolby Atmos sound and in the highest quality. It is time to celebrate the classic and, of course, our beloved Nagarjuna.” The video was also replete with snippets from Shiva. Back in August, Nagarjuna announced the happy news by teasing the film on social media. “50 years of Annapurna. Hello, my friends. Workwise, Nagarjuna is currently gearing up for his 100th film, which is reportedly titled Lottery King.
