When Daytime Emmy winner Alley Mills departed General Hospital in 2023, fans were left wondering if her infamous character, Heather Webber might one day return. Now, the actress is teasing that Heather’s comeback could be happening sooner than later. Mills recently attended the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, where she took home the award for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her performance as Heather. While on the red carpet, she spoke with soap journalist Michael Fairman, of Michael Fairman TV, about whether fans can expect to see her back in Port Charles. When asked if she sees Heather returning soon, Mills explained, “Well, I mean, it hasn’t been that soon because I’ve been gone doing a play all year.” She then teased that her schedule has opened up, adding, “So, I’m back in LA, but my last line was to the little baby [Ace] was ‘I’ll be back.’” Mills also recalled a conversation with executive producer Frank Valentini, saying, “Frank said about a year and it’s about a year next month. So, I’m back [In L.A.]. But I don’t know. I think that’s what ABC wants.” The actress also spoke to Dishin’ Days, a Days of Our Lives YouTube Channel, where she teased that she has multiple projects in the works, including a possible return to The Bold and the Beautiful. “I’m probably going to go back and do a little stint on Bold and Beautiful as Pammy I just heard. Then, go back and be a crazy person,” she laughed. “I’m also a theater rat. So, I’ve been doing a play all year in Kansas and then I just did a play here in Hollywood.
