Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei are places you can visit, spread all around the game world, that will grant you a health increase when you rest in them. That is not just a health recovery mechanic; it is also a way to permanently increase your health, which is very useful when playing at higher difficulty levels.

All Hot Springs locations in Ghost of Yotei

Below, you can find maps showing the locations of all sixteen Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei. Rest at them to get more health, but pay attention to notes that can be attached to posts near the springs to see extra little cutscenes that build up the atmosphere of the game.

Yotei Grasslands

Hidden Cliff Hot Spring – can be found in the very northern part of the Yotei Grasslands, at the Golden Foothills.
Wild Clearing Hot Spring – found east of the Nupur River, near the Maw of the Serpent.
Yotei’s Shadow Hot Spring – found at the small lake in the Shikotsu Woods.
Horizon View Hot Spring – is found on the southern coast of the Yotei Grasslands.

Ishikari Plains

Cloud View Hot Spring – this can be found in the north of the Ishikari Plain, at the top of the Rumoi River.
Smoky Mountains Hot Spring – can be found in the White Deer Woodlands.
Kappa’s Hot Spring – is found to the far east of the Horokanai Bluffs.
Bear Rock Hot Spring – is located just to the northeast of Ishikari Market.

Tokachi Range

Quiet Valley Hot Spring – is located on the Ohara Plains, near the north of the region.
Grassy Fields Hot Spring – can be found on the Saru Plains near the Boar’s Eye Cave.

Nayoro Wilds

Cave Path Hot Spring – the only Hot Spring in Nayoro Wilds is on the western border, atop a climb through some caves.

Teshio Ridge

Vally View Hot Spring – is found along the northwest border of the Teshio Ridge, past the Chilled Peak Shrine.
Black Bowl Hot Spring – is found in the western area of the Crimson Forest.
Red Crane Inn Hot Spring – is located in the Red Crane Inn.

Oshima Coast

Cliff View Hot Spring – can be found in the Shojin Hills.
Distant Castle Hot Spring – is found to the northeast of the Tokuyama Hills.

And there you have it, every hot spring location in Ghost of Yotei. When you visit them all, you will get access to a special armor called Fundoshi, which will reduce the noise from running and sprinting, but will have very poor protection against cold.
