Walford is set for a dramatic and emotional week as secrets unravel, old tensions explode, and dangerous behaviour reaches a shocking peak. As Callum tries to navigate his double life and Suki contemplates a fresh start, other residents are left reeling from betrayals, health scares, and troubling behaviour at home and school.

Here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening in EastEnders next week…

Monday 6th October

A kiss is caught, secrets spill, and Ben makes a surprise return.

It’s the day of Jonno’s funeral, and Kathy gathers the Mitchells to support a grieving Callum. But he’s hiding more than his heartbreak, and when he shares a kiss with Johnny, unaware Kathy sees them, the Mitchells are left stunned. At the café, Kathy wastes no time in telling Phil, Billy, Honey, Ian and Harvey, leading to a tense family confrontation.

Callum defends himself with some hard truths before seeking out Johnny and making it clear he’s serious about their relationship, even asking him to attend the funeral.

Meanwhile, Johnny has also persuaded Stuart to return, and Kathy agrees to keep the truth from Ben, so long as Callum tells him and Lexi after the service.

But just as Callum tries to take control of the situation, Ben arrives at the funeral unannounced, and everything changes.

Elsewhere, Harry and Gina return from a romantic getaway, but Harry’s high spirits are crushed when Kojo collapses at The Arches. Realising Kojo is still caught up with Ravi and Okie, Harry tries to confront Ravi but gets brushed off, leaving him no choice but to ask Teddy for help.

Over at No.41, Priya, Ravi, Avani and Nugget move back in after selling their house, and Suki tries to mend fences with her fractured family. Encouraged by Avani, Suki reaches out to Eve, and the pair agree to meet for a drink…

Tuesday 7th October

At the funeral, Callum is blindsided by Ben’s unexpected support at the graveside, while Johnny and Stuart work behind the scenes to keep Callum’s affair hidden.

Ben later explains to Phil and Kathy that he’s been transferred to a UK prison after informing on a cellmate, and was granted a temporary release to attend the funeral. But even his return can’t fully distract from Callum’s betrayal.

Later in The Vic, Johnny urges Callum to stay quiet, but Callum insists he must tell Ben the truth.

Meanwhile, George returns to check on Kojo after Phil tips him off about the collapse, but his intense concern pushes Kojo further away.

Over at The Albert, Eve and Suki’s drink gets off to a rocky start, but takes a surprising turn when Eve reveals she wants the two of them to adopt a baby.

Back on the Ravi front, Teddy tries to talk Harry out of going to the police, promising he’ll handle things. But Ravi rejects Teddy’s interference and orders him out of the business altogether.

Determined to act, Teddy sends Harry, Gina and Kojo out to dinner, then sneaks into Kojo’s flat hoping to find something on Ravi, but when Ravi and Okie return home early, Teddy is forced to hide in the bathroom…

Wednesday 8th October

Kathy and Julie encourage Phil to check in on Ben before his flight, as the fallout from Callum’s lies continues to ripple through the Mitchells.

At No.41, Priya catches Suki looking up adoption information and quickly realises what Eve’s proposal means. The reaction is swift and harsh as Suki’s family brands her a bad mother and tries to talk her out of the idea. Still determined, Suki heads to No.31 to speak to Eve directly.

Meanwhile, Harry is still dodging George’s questions about what’s really going on with Kojo. As George becomes more controlling, Gina and Anna intervene and tell him to back off, but Harry is horrified to learn Okie has booked Kojo in for a car show out of town. He suspects it’s a cover for yet another dangerous job.

Elsewhere, tensions run high at No.43, where Vicki and Joel clash after he spouts misogynistic views once again. Ross tries to mediate, but Joel storms out, leaving everyone frustrated and unsure how to handle his behaviour.

Thursday 9th October

A disturbing event at school, involving Joel and Tommy, sparks serious debate across Walford. Parents and teens are forced to confront difficult truths about online content, gender, and responsibility.

Kat, Alfie, Vicki, and Ross step in to challenge the boys’ misogynistic behaviour, but things take a dark turn at home when Joel becomes violent and hits Vicki.

As the community reels from the incident, it’s clear this won’t be brushed under the rug, and the consequences are only just beginning.

With secrets still to come out, Suki and Eve facing an emotional crossroads, and the Mitchells on the verge of even more upheaval, Walford isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Can Callum face Ben with the truth? Will Teddy’s snooping backfire? And how far will Joel’s behaviour go before someone steps in?
