Commissions are the primary source of farming upgrade materials in Duet Night Abyss. They are short, repeatable missions/dungeons with different objectives and rewards. There isn’t a limit on how many times you can do each of them, meaning if you’re running low on upgrade or forging materials, select the one where it drops and run it a few times.You can unlock them by progressing through various quests and increasing the Trial rank, and at the moment, there are ten in the game. This guide lists all the Commissions you can do in Duet Night Abyss, along with their objectives.Every Commission in Duet Night AbyssUnlock Commissions by increasing Trial Level (Image via Pan Studio)The initial Commission will unlock after you reach Icelake Environs and meet Camilla, who’ll ask you to help Margie find a thief. After the quest is complete, a new section will be available in the combat section that allows you to access the Commission.If you’ve played Warframe, the Commission is similar to the various mission types through the star chart. However, there are also differences. The one you’ll notice is that inside a mission, you can choose the difficult level. We recommend saving the manuals for higher-level missions to get more rewards.Here are all the Commissions and their objectives in Duet Night Abyss:Excavation: An Excavation mission will have you power and defend three excavators. Once the process is complete, the game will give you the option to continue for more coins or retreat with the rewards. Main rewards include Coins.Hedge: In this mission, you need to activate a potion machine and feed it serum collected by defeating enemies. While it sounds easy, the collection progress can go down if you aren’t defeating enemies regularly or if there is a special enemy present. Main rewards include Character EXP materials.Termination: To complete this mission, you need to defeat a set number of enemies and claim your rewards. As the difficulty goes up, the enemies will become more challenging. Main rewards include Weapon EXP materials.Exploration: This is an endless mission where you fight off enemies to collect serum. The main way to obtain the bar is to defeat enemies or activate terminals throughout the area. Main rewards include character ascension materials.Mediation: A Mediation mission will have you locate and destroy a structure guarded by several enemies. While it won't be an issue in the lower levels, they'll pose a challenge as you increase difficulty. Main rewards include weapon ascension materials.Expulsion: This one is similar to Termination missions, but contains much stronger enemies and a bigger target count to complete. Main rewards include Demon Wedges.Escort: While the name says escort, it’s more of a search and rescue, where you need to find an NPC and bring them back to safety. Alerting enemies before you locate the cell starts a timer for execution. Main rewards include Carmine Globule for upgrading Demon Wedges.Capture: The Capture mission will have you chase down a specific target. Once you reach the location, defeat the target and hold the interaction button to capture it. Note that the target can heal itself and try to flee. Main rewards include character skill upgrade materials.Defense: A Defense mission is similar to Excavation, where you need to keep an objective safe from multiple waves of enemies. After a successful round, you can choose to leave or continue the mission. Main rewards include forging and character skill upgrade materials.Relocation: This mission will have you escort a vehicle from one location to another while defending it against enemies.
