As the penultimate episode, “Emergence” is the turning point where all storylines converge. The official teaser hints at total chaos on Neverland Island. Slightly’s betrayal, which began when he led Arthur to the facehugger in episode 6, may deepen and cause another major death.
The teaser cuts to soldiers emerging from the water carrying a mysterious container, leaving us to wonder whether the newcomers are allies or yet another threat. Meanwhile, Wendy and Joe plot an escape as the situation in the lab spirals out of control.
If that wasn’t enough, the long-awaited glimpse of a Xenomorph lurking in an Earth jungle sets the stage for a finale I hope ends on a major cliffhanger for season 2.
