Alex Pereira recently responded to Joaquin Buckley's claim that the Brazilian turned down a fight against him in 2022 and shared an old screenshot of their DMs on Instagram.For context, Buckley recently claimed that he was offered a fight against Pereira on short notice in 2022. The American further stated that he was down to fight Pereira and was confident about his chances against the Brazilian. In a video shared to his socials (via @ChampRDS on X), Buckley said:"[Alex] won't be able to take the fight because his coaches and himself said they wouldn’t be ready in time... I was the person willing to take that fight... I was planning on knocking that man out."In a recent Instagram Story (via @ChampRDS on X), Pereira seemingly trolled Buckley by sharing a screengrab of their textual conversation that took place in 2022. After Buckley forwarded Pereira a post, 'Poatan' replied:"Why did you send me this post? Of the 15 that ran, you were the first!
