Aldi has revealed the return of a popular new product in stores this week and has warned shoppers to “grab them while you can”, suggesting the new treat is like “gold dust”. On TikTok , Aldi has urged shoppers to “run, don’t walk” after revealing the return of their Kiwi Berries. Announcing the berries on Instagram last year, Aldi wrote: “Craving the taste of kiwi without the faff? These delicious grape-like berries are just what you need.” The packaging of the new item also adds Kiwi Berries can be eaten in “one bite”, saying they have “all the convenience of a grape but the taste of a kiwi.” For the best ideas on days out, shopping and parenting issues, get the Manchester Family newsletter here On TikTok, one shopper, commenting under the handle @your_favv..layla, wrote: “I got them on Mondayyy they were so tasty.” Others also shared their excitement for the new fruit treats on the Facebook page Mark Your Moments, as one shopper, Nick Jenkins, wrote: “Meant to be lush apparently!” Another shopper, Marta Babeshh, added: “Got those today, they’re sooooo nice.” However other shoppers have appeared less sure of the unique berries as one shopper, Steph Powierski, wrote: “They are so sour, got a shock when I had them.” Punnets of Aldi’s Kiwi Berries appear to be available to pick up from the stores fruit and veg aisle for £1.99.
