Block bookings and corporate bookings have become a trend in Bollywood, with several filmmakers allegedly employing them, and it appears that Akshay Kumar has now taken a subtle dig at these practices. Three days since the release of his film Jolly LLB 3, the movie has already earned ₹50 crore at the box office.
Now, as Shibasish Sarkar, Reliance Entertainment Group CEO, wrote on X, “It’s a clean hit. No buying of tickets, no false reporting of numbers, no buying of reviews… no unfair practices… pure audience love. Congratulations to @akshaykumar #Viacom #SubhashKapoor @ArshadWarsi …and all talents and technicians.” Akshay quickly responded saying, “Nothing matters more than the audience’s love. A big thank you to everyone who supported us.”
Jolly LLB 3: Plot and Cast
The film follows Jagdwishwar ‘Jolly’ Mishra (Akshay Kumar) as he takes on a powerful political figure in a land-grabbing case filed by local villagers. His rival, Jagdish ‘Jolly’ Tyagi (Arshad Warsi), represents the complainants. While the two lawyers are constantly at odds, their perspectives shift when they encounter Janaki, a farmer’s widow fighting for justice against a major real estate company illegally seizing her land.
The film also sees the return of Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, and Amrita Rao, alongside new additions Gajraj Rao and Seema Biswas.

An excerpt from the review read, “Jolly LLB 3 is a fine example of how cinema can tackle pressing social issues with humour, without ever diluting their seriousness. The film seamlessly balances comedy and gravity, making the narrative both thought-provoking and highly entertaining. With its sharp writing and powerful performances, the film delivers a complete cinematic experience. It is pure entertainment and a must-watch.”
About Akshay Kumar’s performance, it said, “What makes Jolly LLB 3 a wonderful film is its powerhouse cast. Akshay Kumar brings his trademark screen presence and charm and perfectly blends it with humour. His comic timing lights up the courtroom, yet he never lets you forget the seriousness of the issue.
