Ajmer Boy Snatches Food From Woman’s Hands, Decides Not To Share With Anyone: ‘Tourists Are Always Harassed Here’ | Video

An incident from Ajmer has stirred outrage online after a video showing a foreign woman being allegedly misbehaved with by a local youth began circulating on Instagram. It is being claimed that the boy snatched away the woman’s food packet and refused to return it despite her repeated requests. The footage left many viewers shocked and angry. They criticised the behaviour while others suggested that the clip might have been misunderstood. The Incident Caught On Camera In the short video, a foreign woman can be seen standing near a group of young boys. One of them is holding a food packet that appears to belong to her. Gesturing towards him, she says, “Do (give).” She then looks at the man recording the clip and says, “You take. Half-half.” The person behind the camera instructs the boy to return the packet but the boy doesn’t obey. The woman continues to wait but the video ends abruptly, which makes it unclear whether she got the packet back. The clip was later shared by several Instagram pages claiming that a foreign tourist had been allegedly harassed by local youth in Ajmer. Although it is not known when the incident took place, the video gained significant traction and became a subject of heated discussion. Many users criticised the behaviour, saying it showed a lack of manners and tarnished India’s image. One user commented, “There are people who will never be human beings.” Another said, “Indian education system should work on manners and parents should work on parenting irrespective of schools.” “Unbelievable…. Is this really India?” a person asked in disbelief. “I am from Rajasthan, it’s true that tourists are being harassed in Jaisalmer and Ajmer,” someone else wrote. “Because of this boy, our country name is spoiling,” a viewer said. “If I was there, I would’ve given a big slap to this type of kids. It is their parents’ mistake for not teaching them manners,” read another sharp comment. Some Say Situation Was Misunderstood But several users came forward with a different version of events. They claimed the video was being portrayed in the wrong light and that the youth did not snatch the food from the woman. According to them, the woman herself had given the food packet to the boys and asked them to share it among themselves. But when one of the boys refused to split it, she asked the man recording the video to help get the food divided properly.
