TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk recorded a loss of Rp982.5 billion throughout January-September 2025. This figure increased from the loss of Rp596.5 billion in the same period last year.Based on its financial report on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, AirAsia gained an operating income of Rp6 trillion, an increase from Rp5.9 trillion in the same period last year. Although the income has increased, AirAsia's operating expenses also rose from Rp6.2 trillion to Rp6.4 trillion.The majority of AirAsia's income comes from seat sales, baggage, flight services, and others. Meanwhile, income from cargo recorded Rp52.7 billion and charter Rp7.7 billion.As of September 30, 2025, AirAsia's total assets amount to Rp5.6 trillion, a decrease from Rp5.7 trillion in December 2024. AirAsia's capital deficiency is recorded at Rp10.4 trillion, an increase from Rp9.4 trillion. Meanwhile, AirAsia's liabilities are recorded at Rp16 trillion.Throughout 2024, AirAsia recorded an income of Rp7.94 trillion. This income increased by 20 percent from Rp6.62 trillion in the same period the year before.Veranita Yosephine Sinaga, the President Director of PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk, stated that a majority of the company's income comes from flight operations, where the sale of flight tickets contributes Rp6.73 trillion.
