AgentOps could be the key to delivering value on AI

Agent Operations, or AgentOps, could secure the future of artificial intelligence in enterprise. An MIT study suggesting 95% of AI projects have failed has prompted the question: How can companies generate value from AI before the bubble pops? Agentic AI, in particular, has been top of mind, with experts predicting it will reach 29% of AI value in 2028. “Over the past two years, most companies have experimented with AI pilots and proofs of concept,” said Zeus Kerravala, founder and principal analyst at ZK Research, during an interview with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. “Often used in isolated use cases such as chatbots, anomaly detection or knowledge assistance. However, the challenge now isn’t about proving AI can work. We know it can. It’s about making AI operational, scalable and integrated across the enterprise.” During the “Agentic AI Unleashed: The Future of Digital & IT Operations” event on Nov. 12, theCUBE will talk with industry experts from Fabrix.ai Inc., the event sponsor, as well as other leaders in data, AI and automation, with analysis provided by theCUBE’s Bob Laliberte. Tune in to hear experts discuss the potential of AgentOps — the emerging discipline of AI agents managing other AI agents — and how it could redefine digital and IT operations for the enterprise. TheCUBE will explore why operationalizing these systems is becoming the critical next step in turning AI from isolated pilots into production-scale value. Here’s what to expect from theCUBE’s coverage of the “Agentic AI Unleashed: The Future of Digital & IT Operations” event: AgentOps as the ‘missing link’ Fabrix’s operational intelligence platform is designed to manage AgentOps, which Kerravala sees as the “missing link” between developing AI tools and actually generating value from them. The platform is based on a data fabric, which unifies all the data required for large language models, an AI fabric, which manages the LLMs, and an automation fabric, which automates routine tasks like onboarding employees. “There’s a lot of claims and counterclaims going on in the industry about agentic,” said Shailesh Manjrekar, chief AI and marketing officer at Fabrix, in the interview alongside Kerravala. “There are questions around hey, what are the right use cases? Where do I start? The purpose of this summit is really about … demystify[ing] some of those claims and what the real use cases are, the low-hanging use cases, and how the operational world is different from the business intelligence world.” Fabrix recently introduced the Agent AI Accelerator Program, which takes away pain points around a user’s AI stack. The company is holding a session during the event for its partners and customers, with the goal of prioritizing organizational readiness for AI across the enterprise world. “The partners are actually the enablers,” Manjrekar said. “We strongly believe that agentic is actually an ecosystem play, and we want to bring in the partners whom we have been working with to share their experiences and their point of view and their vision around agentic.” TheCUBE event livestream Do not miss theCUBE’s coverage of the “Agentic AI Unleashed: The Future of Digital & IT Operations” event on Nov. 12.
