According to a report in India Today, the Bollywood actor was taken to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. The veteran's son-in-law, Vikas Bhalla, revealed that his health was stable and he was “doing fine.” Bhalla also added that there was no cause for concern, as the veteran actor will be discharged in a few days. Prem Chopra turned 90 on September 23, 2025, and the family shared that this was a routine hospital visit due to age-related issues. Bhalla told India Today, “It’s all age-related, and a regular procedure. There is nothing to worry about.” The veteran actor is known for his villainous roles in films such as Upkar (1967), Bobby (1973), Do Anjaane (1976), and Kranti (1981).
