After a road upset win, five questions with Pleasantville football coach Elijah Glover

Each week of the high school football season The Press will ask five questions of a local player or coach.
Pleasantville High School football coach Elijah Glover knows how tough it is to beat Haddonfield.
Haddonfield beat the Greyhounds twice when Glover was a Pleasantville senior in 2018. Pleasantville finished 8-3 that season.
On Friday with Glover as the head coach, Pleasantville won at Haddonfield 6-3. Raliel Wiggins scored the Greyhounds lone TD on an unplanned, 60-yard fake punt in the second quarter. Haddonfield (3-2) was ranked No. 10 in The Press Elite 11.
“He caught the (snap), and the rush got there faster than he expected,” Glover said of Wiggins. “So, he took off.”
Pleasantville (3-2) hosts Woodstown (2-3) 6 p.m. Thursday. The Greyhounds defense has allowed a total of 11 points in its three wins this season.
Now for the five questions:
What did the win over Haddonfield mean to the Greyhounds?: It’s a real big win for the program. I don’t think we ever beat Haddonfield ever. It was a real big win.
What did the win over Haddonfield mean to you?: It was good for the boys to get the win. But going in it was a bit personal. You never forget (one of the few) teams that beat you. It was cool to beat them.
What’s been the key to Pleasantville’s defensive success?: Really just communication and being 11 as one. Playing our brand of football, being physical, being tough and executing.
Who are a couple of players who are having a good season but are underrated?: Quyan Cade and Terrell Henry. Both of our defensive ends. They do everything. They stop the run. And Amar Coley (defensive tackle) as well. When (the opponent) runs the football, they stop it. When they drop back, they definitely get a pass rush for us. I don’t think anybody we’ve seen so far can block them.
How do the Greyhounds put the Haddonfield win behind them and get ready for Woodstown on Thursday?: Just close the film out and keep reminding the boys that this is a week to week game. You have to move on and prepare for our next opponent. Woodstown is going to be the best team we play because they’re are (next) opponent.
