In its determination to promote enduring business partnership and prospects among Nigeria, Canada and other African countries, Nigerian and African business owners, including entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals are set to explore significant advantage in the global market through the AfriCanada Expo 2025.

The global business initiative, according to the organisers, is a big platform to unlock the potential inherent in a working business relationship between Africa and Canada.

Founder and Executive Director of Made in Africa Expo Canada, Christiana Ranicia Erickson, said the landmark event, with the theme “Unlocking Potential: The Africa-Canada Partnership for Prosperity,” will hold between October 17 and 19, 2025, at the Edmonton Hotel and Convention Centre, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

“The AfriCanada Expo is a global event that provides a crucial step towards building a mutually beneficial economic relationship.

“The event is an initiative designed to bridge the economic gap between Africa and Canada, fostering sustainable partnerships and unlocking immense opportunities for businesses across the continent.

“We are excited to bring this vision to life. AfriCanada Ambassador in Nigeria, Mr. Soji Amusan said part of the importance and benefits of the global business platform is to create enabling business milieu and opportunities for Nigerian entrepreneurs for them to tap into the Canadian market, which, he stated, is rich with potential.

“We believe that by working together, Africa and Canada can achieve remarkable prosperity.

“Attending the AfriCanada Expo will provide a direct channel to connect with key investors and stakeholders, including importers, distributors, and venture capitalists, who are keen on investing in African talent and products,” he said.

Amusan also highlighted the key activities slated for the grand event. This, according to him, include digital economy and innovation Forums, Agri-Business, Climate -Smart Solutions, Women and Youth Empowerment Zones, Health, Education and Skills Mobility, Creative and Cultural Industries, Diaspora Networking and Cultural Showcases B2B Trade and Investment Sessions, Government Engagements and Policy Dialogues Canada-Africa Leadership Panels, Prestigious Awards and Gala Night, Business Exhibitions and Market.
