KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s Under-19 cricket team will play a One-Day International (ODI) tri-series against India U-19 A and B teams in November. The series would commence on November 17 and would continue until November 30, hosted by India, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said in a statement. The Afghan U-19 side will play a total of four matches during the tour— two each against India’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams. As per the schedule, Afghanistan will play their first match on November 19 against India U-19 ‘B’, followed by their second match on November 21 against India U-19 ‘A’. The teams will then face India U-19 ‘B’ again on November 25 and play their final match on November 27 against India U-19 ‘A’. The final match of the series will be held on 30th of November, between the top two teams with the highest points. The ACB also noted that the Afghan U-19 team would travel to Bangladesh today (Monday) to play a five-match series against the host nation The series is scheduled to begin on October 28 and run until November 9.
