Tomohiro Ishii suffers major injury in AEWTomohiro Ishii, of the New Japan Pro Wrestling fame and the current Strong Openweight Champion, has suffered a serious injury while competing at an AEW live event. NJPW confirmed the news in an official statement, revealing that Ishii dislocated his right shoulder during a match held on October 22 in San Antonio, Texas.Following that bout, reports emerged that Ishii sustained the injury during the match and required immediate medical attention. NJPW later clarified that Ishii will be ruled out of upcoming appearances, both in Japan and in AEW, until further notice. NJPW also apologized to fans expecting to see him compete at upcoming shows.#2. Chris Jericho reveals that Fozzy now has eleven songs in the top 30 singlesChris Jericho addressed fans this week amid ongoing speculation about his future and a potential return to WWE. The Nueve, who has been on hiatus from AEW since April, issued a public statement celebrating a major milestone for his rock band Fozzy while acknowledging the support of fans worldwide.In a post on Instagram, Jericho revealed that Fozzy’s latest single, Crazy Train, has climbed to number 27 on the Secondary Market Rock Charts, marking the band’s eleventh Top 30 single. Brian Cage set to undergo another surgery amid AEW absenceBrian Cage revealed an unfortunate update on his health this week, confirming that his recovery from a knee injury has suffered a major setback. The Machine disclosed on Instagram that he will have to undergo another surgery to address complications from a previous operation on his right knee. In his emotional post, the powerhouse admitted that his recovery had been far more difficult than expected. The star expressed frustration and doubt about his situation, but emphasized that he remains determined to return stronger."There is an issue on the operation I had on my right knee.. I have to go back under the knife for them to try to fix or correct the situation...I hate having this what was me mindset, and hopefully when they get in there it's best case scenario.
