The show opens with the contract signing for the AEW World Championship between AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher ahead of their match at All Out. Tony Schiavone introduces the two before Don Callis interrupts, and says that although Page beat Kenny Omega, Callis found someone bigger and better than Omega: Kyle Fletcher. Page says everyone is tired of half the roster getting involved in the matches or putting him and the rest of the Callis Family into the ground. Page says he sees the potential in Fletcher, and if he wants the responsibility, he’s going to have to show that he’s worthy. Page says that the contract states that if Don Callis or anyone in the Family gets involved, he’d lose the TNT Championship, too. Fletcher says he’s not scared of that stipulation or anything, and it changes nothing. Fletcher says he fulfills his destiny this Saturday and that he’s better than Page was in both 2019, 2021, and right now. The contract is signed, Page tells him that he wants Fletcher to bring everything he has, but it won’t be enough, and to not let him down.
A review of this past weekend’s AEW Collision where MJF confronts Tony Khan about his match with Mark Briscoe ahead of their Tables N’ Tacks Match at All Out. MJF demands that Khan reinstate his contract for the AEW Championship whenever he wants, and Khan refuses. MJF warns Khan there will be “another Briscoe in the dirt” and it will be his fault.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are face-to-face with FTR in the ring. Tony Schiavone in the ring to keep the peace, and Stokely Hathaway says that if anyone touches him or FTR, he’ll have the match canceled. FTR takes turns telling them that they’ve carried tag team wrestling on their backs, and says that Copeland and Christian need a dream match. Copeland tells them to shut up, and that while they were just trying to get their feet in the door, they were revolutionizing the industry. Cage tells FTR he’s rich and doesn’t care about the fines, and the men attack each other.
Timeless Toni Storm appears and gives a rousing speech to the crowd, telling the crowd that “this tramp is still the champ.” She says she’s lived every day as the AEW Women’s Championship like it’s her last, just she’s enjoyed every last minute of it. She says if any of her three opponents want the title, they’ll need to burn her body to the ground and smoke her. Jamie Hayter interrupts and says she never cared for the spotlight, but wants her to remember that she’s coming for it. Kris Statlander says she hasn’t wrestled for the championship in four years and neither of them have the ovaries to beat her. Thekla appears from the back to break up the segment before her match.
Darby Allin sits with Bryan Danielson about climbing Mount Everest. He says he was tired of living life for everyone else. He said all he has was his word, and he gave his word he’d take the AEW flag to the top of the Everest. He says Moxley’s not a man of his word, and he’s not sure if he’s ready for the Coffin Match. Allin tells Danielson not to get involved in the match, no matter what, and that he holds a ton of grief about what he did. Danielson gives him his word that he won’t, but asks him to do one thing, which he whispers, and Allin says he has his word that he will.
