Tony Schiavone opens the show in the ring and as he begins to speak, The Opps interrupt. Samoa Joe says there's a term he heard back in the day, and it applies to Schiavone. Schiavone begins to tell Joe how much respect he has for them, but Joe tells him to shut up, and that there are consequences for his actions. The Opps circle the ring to attack him and security guards appear from the back to protect him. "Hangman" Adam Page appears from the back to make the save and chases them out of the ring. Joe prepares to attack both of them until Eddie Kingston and Hook charge the ring, Kingston wielding a crutch. Hook challenges The Opps to be fighting champions and put their Trios Championships on the line, and Joe agrees. Renee Paquette is backstage with Mark Briscoe and Kyle Fletcher, and Briscoe says he wants a response from Fletcher himself about his next opportunity at the TNT Championship. Don Callis says he wants something from Briscoe if he's going to give him a shot. Callis says when he loses to Fletcher, he will join the Don Callis Family and leave The Conglomeration, and Briscoe agrees. The Hurt Syndicate appears in the ring with Tony Schiavone to discuss the Casino Gauntlet Match to determine the first AEW National Champion. MVP speaks about the history of the National Championship, and names several of the most prominent names that have held its lineage from the NWA's Georgia Championship Wrestling, but says both Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin have declared themselves as competitors in the Gauntlet. Ricochet and The Demand interrupt them, and tells them all at their age he admires them for attempting to win the championship. As Ricochet continues to insult them, MVP tells them to come to the ring and handle business. Ricochet tells them that he'll be leaving Full Gear as the new AEW National Champion.
