AEW Dynamite Preview (10/29/25) – Fright Night 4-Way Fights

As AEW looks to build steam for Full Gear, this week’s Halloween-themed Fright Night special packs a bite with three big fights Additionally, Don Callis will hold a Family Summit. The tensions between AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita are climbing. Something is going to give eventually. Ultimately, a clash between the two Japanese juggernauts looms. Expect more story beats before we reach that blowup. This segment could also be a Trojan horse for Kenny Omega and other enemies of the Family to get involved. Either way, Callis will need all his intellectual weaponry to defuse this ticking time bomb. Lit like a fuse, anticipation is high. AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Kicks Off Scoring a huge win last week with a deadly Queen’s Crown/Hayterade finishing combo, Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata picked Sisters of Sin as their quarter-final opponents. The wave of momentum the face team is riding is high. Hayter holds a victory over Thekla from WrestleDream, and Aminata is also on a mini-winning streak. An inspired unit of two of the hardest-hitting women in the division could be dark-horse options to become the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team champions. Momentum in wrestling can shift with one wrong move, one mistake, or one underhanded trick. Sisters of Sin might have taken the L last week, but they have tag team experience that provides them with the edge. Plus, neither woman is above cheating to get what they want. With the potential of Thekla’s presence at ringside, we might get a two-for-one story progression. A glaring time issue for the past few weeks has been a lack of build for the women’s Blood and Guts match. Including Fight Night, we are two more Dynamites and three Collisions away from Greensboro. Compared to previous years, there is a storyline inequity that needs addressing. Wednesday would be the perfect night to do this. Two No. 1 Contender Fright Night 4-Ways Fights Following a barnburner of a $400K 8-man all-star tag on Collision, FTR, The Young Bucks, JetSpeed, and Jurassic Express are out for themselves as they compete to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear. We live in a glorious era where we’re spoiled with bangers! It’s hard to predict the outcome. FTR are red hot and have unfinished history with Brodido. However, their issues with JetSpeed remain unresolved. Also, there’s tension with The Young Bucks. The Bucks lost to Brodido during the AEW World Tag Team Eliminator Tournament, and championships would mean more money. Jurassic Express, competing again for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, would be a fun clash of the tag division’s past facing its present. Contrasted with the AEW Men’s World Championship match, could it be anyone other than Samoa Joe? It partly depends on whether Hangman Adam Page intends to hunt Joe down fairly. Bobby Lashley or Ricochet would be interesting challengers. Yet are the issues between the Demand and Hurt Syndicate resolved? As for HOOK, there’s a deep history with Joe to play with. It’s going to be a contrasting physical affair. From both contests, we’re going to get off-shot stories setting up more big matches. AEW Dynamite Matches Announced
