Cluster University, Kurnool, Registrar (FAC) G. Srinivas held an interaction meeting with the principals and lecturers of the three constituent colleges of the university, on Saturday. The meeting, attended by academicians and lecturers, discussed about the development of the university, skill development and student-centric reforms to be taken up in the university. Cluster University in-charge Vice-Chancellor (V-C) Venkata Basava Rao and Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Vice-Chairman S. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao were the chief guests at the meeting. Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao discussed about various teaching and research related issues with the principals of the three colleges and asked them to share and utilise the resources available with them. He suggested the principals to adopt multi-disciplinary approach for enhancing knowledge and research capabilities, and asked them to make efforts to chalk out teaching in tune with the needs of industry. Registrar Srinivas said that the university was committed to the overall development of the rural students through innovative teaching and research programmes.
