Adina Barrack Plaza’s $4m facelift

In the heart of Perth, a $4 million refurbishment has been completed at Adina Barrack Plaza. “Phase one of the refresh touches every corner of the hotel, from upgraded guest rooms and corridors to a revitalised lobby,” says a spokesperson for the hotel and apartment complex at 138 Barrack Street. “There’s new tech throughout, including smart TVs, upgraded wi-fi, new door lock technology, and improved air-conditioning.” + All of the hotel’s studios and apartments have been refurbished with “water-inspired design elements reflecting Adina’s relaxed Australian aesthetic”, says the spokesperson. + There are custom-designed 2m by 2m square king beds, with pocket springs, memory foam and breathable fabrics. + “Striking new herringbone carpets, feature walls, revitalised bathrooms and kitchens, and outdoor furniture complete the new look,” says the spokesperson. + Apartments range from 32sqm to 101sqm, with balconies overlooking West Perth and Northbridge and Adina Barrack Plaza. The refurbishment was led by Serene Capital, which owns the property. adinahotels.com
