AD FEATURE: See your future at Cadbury Sixth Form College open days

Cadbury Sixth Form College is opening its doors this October to offer a first look at its transformed facilities.

With millions invested into new learning environments and student spaces, the college is showcasing its commitment to preparing school leavers for university, employment, and everything in between.

The college, part of the Sandwell Colleges group, has undertaken a major redevelopment programme, creating cutting-edge career spaces designed to inspire ambition.

Popular subject areas such as sociology, criminology, and psychology have been revitalised, while the STEM centre has been expanded with state-of-the-art labs and equipment.

A campus designed for the future

One of the standout new additions is the learning centre, reimagined as a bright, innovative hub designed to motivate independent study.

With its striking feature walls and modern design, it’s now a place where students can truly immerse themselves in learning.

Alongside academic spaces, Cadbury has upgraded its eateries, serving street food-inspired menus shaped directly by student feedback.

These vibrant social spaces reflect the college’s belief that learning and life outside lessons go hand in hand.

Number one for achievement

The investment reflects Cadbury’s status as the number one further education college in the West Midlands for student achievement on full-time courses.

With over 50 A Levels, T Levels, and BTECs on offer, the college continues to deliver both academic excellence and real-world opportunities.

Pioneering partnerships with employers give students access to meaningful work experience, professional training and, for those on T Levels, valuable industry placements.

It’s this balance of study and experience that helps Cadbury students stand out when applying for university or employment.

More than a place to study

While the facilities are impressive, the college stresses that open days are about more than just buildings.

Visitors are encouraged to meet the teachers who inspire learners every day, chat with current students for honest insights, and explore the inclusive and diverse community that defines Cadbury.

Ninety-five per cent of students agree that diversity is valued at the college, making it a place where everyone can feel welcome and supported.

This ethos is backed by personalised learning support, ensuring every student has the tools to succeed and progress.

Student life is also about discovery beyond the classroom. With clubs, trips, and events, Cadbury helps learners build confidence and lifelong memories.

Free travel, limitless possibilities

Practical support is also at the heart of Cadbury’s offer.

Every student receives a free bus pass, giving them unlimited travel not just to college, but to work, the gym, town, and even during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This freedom ensures learners can make the most of both study and social life.

Open days this October

Cadbury’s open days are designed to give prospective students and their families all the information they need ahead of courses starting next September.

Visitors can tour the campus, explore subject options, and find out how Cadbury can help shape their future.

For students considering their next step, these open days are a chance to see first-hand why Cadbury’s is about more than just education – it’s about joining a community, achieving your potential, and preparing for the future.

The events take place on Thursday, October 9, from 5pm to 7pm, and Saturday, October 11, from 10am to 2pm.

Pre-booking is encouraged, and places can be reserved online at cadcol.ac.uk/open-days
