Actress, entrepreneur and social media star Tabitha Brown visited Huntsville this past week and gave several restaurants, businesses and more a social media shout-out while there. Brown shared plenty with her millions of followers about her time in Huntsville. The motivational speaker was in town to serve as the keynote speaker at The Vision and Dreamers Conference in Huntsville, which took place from Nov. 7 through Nov. 9. She spoke on Saturday, and shared videos taken during the event as well as its meet-and-greet to social media in the following days. “My heart is still so full from speaking at The Vision and Dreamers Conference,” Brown wrote on Facebook. “To all the dreamers and visionaries keep believing, keep trusting and keep doing the work! It was an honor to be in the room with all of you!” A vegan known for sharing recipes with her followers, Brown gave a shout-out to Vujee Vegan, a plant-based restaurant that opened earlier this year after operating as a popular food truck since 2020. In a post on social media, Brown, who praised the eatery’s burgers, meatballs, chili and red velvet cake, shared a video of her time at the restaurant. “Baby if y’all are ever in Huntsville you must go to @vujee_vegan and let the burgers, meatballs and chili bless you real good!” Brown wrote on social media. “...But honey we all ate so good we almost had to be rolled outta there...Go support this amazing small business!” Brown also made a stop at The Veggie in Madison, which shared a post about her visit as well. “...We had the esteemed pleasure of feeding Tabitha [Brown] and her team before they left the Rocket City,” The Veggie shared on its Facebook page. “They snagged some of our favorites like the Philly cheese patty melt, crispy kale salad, and chikn club. And of course we had to send them off with an array of our housemade drinks and today’s Sunday dinner. Thank you so much Tabitha for your time, encouragement, love, and energy in our space!” In addition to Huntsville restaurants, Brown popped by the ULTA store at Bridge Street and visited with customers before treating them to a shopping spree of her haircare line, Donna’s Recipe. You can watch a video of her time there, which she shared on social media. Among the customers who met with Brown were Monique Joe and Mahalian Boykin, who posted about the experience on social media. Plus, Brown later shared a video of the two women where they promoted 4HOPE Haven, an organization that aims to a create a " network where women can connect, grow, share, be heard, and be celebrated." “Y’all my heart is soooo full!“ Monique Joe wrote in a post on Facebook. ”I am smiling from ear to ear! We had the absolute joy of meeting the beautiful Tabitha Brown and she treated us to an unexpected shopping spree today! What a blessing she is in person! Her kindness and authenticity shine just as bright as they do on screen." The actress is currently promoting her film, “Unexpected Christmas,” which opened in select theaters on Nov. 7.
