The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) nominated Aryan Maan for the position of student union president in the DUSU Election 2025. A Hansraj College graduate, Aryan Maan is now pursuing a Master’s in Library Science at Delhi University. His campaign focuses on student welfare and campus development.
He made key promises, including subsidized metro passes, free Wi-Fi, accessibility audits, upgraded sports facilities, and financial support for final-year research scholars. He is contesting on ballot number 3.
Aryan Maan won DUSU Election 2025 race against Joslyn Nandita Choudhary
This year, he won the race with 28,841 votes, while Joslyn Nandita Choudhary received only 12,645 votes. Aryan Maan comes from Bahadurgarh, Haryana. His family works in the liquor business and has been active in Haryana politics.
His late grandfather, Shrichand Mann, led the Lova Satrah Khap for many years. Aryan’s father, Sikandar Mann, is a well-known liquor businessman and the executive director of the ADS Spirits Private Limited factory in Beri, Jhajjar. Sikandar Mann has also served twice as the sarpanch of Lova Kalan village.

Dalbir Mann, Aryan Maan’s uncle and Sikandar Mann’s elder brother, is a prominent liquor businessman. He was closely linked to former Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda. After the government change in Haryana, he shifted his support to the BJP.
Aryan Mann’s campaign received backing from Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. Dutt encouraged students to vote for Aryan Mann in DUSU Election 2025 through video.
While Aryan Maan won the presidential race, ABVP’s Kunal Chaudhary secured the Secretary position with 23,779 votes, and Deepika Jha won the Joint Secretary role with 21,825 votes.
