South actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s fans were excited to watch their favourite’s recent release, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, in a theatre in the UK. But the joyous moment soon turned into despair when a few individuals decided to cause disruption with their behaviour. The incident occurred at a Cineworld Theatre in the UK, when a special paid screening of the film was held right before its release on July 24.
In a video that surfaced on social media, a group of over-enthusiastic fans of the actor caused a ruckus inside the theatre by throwing confetti. They decided to celebrate the actor’s latest release by throwing confetti during the dhow. However, their inappropriate behaviour did not go down well with the theatre staff, who were compelled to stop the screening midway and intervene to school them on civic sense.
Fans Argued With Theatre Staff When They Told Them About Getting Permission Before
As seen in the clip, the entire floor was covered in confetti. Pointing that out, the two theatre staff members asked the men to stop littering the place. They explained that not only was throwing confetti inside the theatre premises prohibited, but it would also make it harder for them to clean the place afterwards. They even told the fans that if they wanted to celebrate, they should have taken permission before doing it.
While most would accept their mistake at this point and apologise, the bunch of fans decided to engage in a verbal argument with the staff. They argued that there were no official notices that prohibited the throwing of confetti inside. Meanwhile, one attendee began complaining randomly about the theatre’s sound system.

Internet Slams The Disruptive Behaviour Of The Fans
Once the video was shared on social media, people got furious over the mannerisms displayed by the fans watching the movie at the theatre. Many came out in support of the theatre staff and criticised the fans for littering the space. Some also called out their lack of civic sense.
One user said, “Please don’t treat other countries like ours.”
Another added, “This is why civic sense is important. Especially when you are in another country.”
“That’s shameful, don’t ever do that again, or send them home GB department,” mentioned a different user.
Someone else pointed out their disruptive behaviour and said, “Another reason why the Indian passport ranking is falling.”
“Absolute nonsense. Do this in your house, no wonder we get thupped everywhere,” shared another individual.
Meanwhile, a section of social media users also asked the staff members to throw such people, who cause a ruckus, out of the theatre from next time onwards.
