The e-Aadhaar app will allow citizens to easily update their Aadhaar data. This app, expected to launch in 2025, will use AI to make the information update process faster and more secure. Aadhaar card update: The Unique Identification Authority of India may soon launch an all-in-one e-Aadhaar mobile app for Android and iOS users. This app will significantly simplify the process of updating Aadhaar-related information such as date of birth, mobile number, and address. This will eliminate the need for people to repeatedly visit Aadhaar service centers or enrollment centers. Currently, we have the mAadhaar app, which keeps our Aadhaar information secure. However, the new e-Aadhaar app is set to simplify and speed up this process. Let’s learn more about this government app. e-Aadhaar App: Complete Information The UIDAI is developing this new app, and it is expected to launch by the end of 2025. The app will be available for both Android and iOS platforms. It will allow citizens to update their date of birth, mobile number, address, and other important information on their own. According to reports, this app will make the process of updating Aadhaar data easier, digital, and faster. AI and Face Recognition Technology The new e-Aadhaar app will use artificial intelligence (AI) and facial recognition. This will not only speed up the update process but also reduce the risk of identity theft or fraud. A significant portion of Aadhaar information updates will now be done digitally through the app. All government documents in one place This app will automatically pull your data from government documents like birth certificates, PAN cards, passports, driving licenses, and ration cards. This app can serve as an “all-in-one government data platform,” eliminating the need for citizens to repeatedly upload separate documents for multiple services. This app was first reported in August 2025, but UIDAI has yet to officially announce it. It is expected that formal information regarding its launch will be shared soon.
