Lewis Hamilton apologized to his team and the fans after the Ferrari driver had a disastrous outing in Brazil. Speaking to the media after the race with a sombre face, Hamilton tendered an apology as he came home with a DNF at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace at Interlagos, Sao Paulo.As F1 was in Brazil for the 21st race weekend of the season, numerous drivers suffered DNFs, such as Charles Leclerc, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Hamilton. After starting from P13 following an underwhelming qualifying on Saturday, Hamilton collided with Franco Colapinto on Lap 4.As a result, it damaged his front wing and floor. Interestingly, the FIA also penalized him with a five-second time penalty for causing the collision. As he went to serve the penalty and change his front wing, he came out last.After a few laps, Ferrari decided to retire him midway through the race, wrapping up a disastrous race weekend for the seven-time world champion.
