PS Direct has appeared out of nowhere and dropped an Autumn Sale to make it easier than ever to bring my pals over to the PS5 side.
Right now, there’s up to £90 off the Sony pixel-pusher, from the Slim digital-edition, to a disc edition PS Plus bundle down to £634.99 at PS Direct, which comes with 2 whole years of the subscription service. Thanks to these savings I finally have plenty of options to convince my friends to grab a PS5, but only a short time to do so as these deals will be gone come October 1, 2025.
View the Autumn Sale at PS Direct UK
I’m regularly annoying my friends to grab a PS5, but the constant barrage of price increases this year has made that a little awkward.
Finding the best PS5 bundle deals for them used to be a case of picking one with a game they’d enjoy. Now, since the £40 increase of the PS5 which occurred in April, I also need to make sure that any version of the Sony console I send their way includes a saving that’s more worthwhile – and these autumn deals are making my job easier.
PS5 Slim Digital-Edition | £429.99 £339.99 at PS Direct
Save £90 -You can grab the digital edition PS5 Slim for just £339.99, saving you £90 off its usual price of £429.99. If you don’t include that price increase from April, that’s still a saving of £50, and this is the cheapest you’ll find the digital Slim model for right now at UK retailers.
PS5 Slim Digital-Edition DualSense Bundle | £479.99 £389.99 at PS Direct
Save £90 – If you want a PS5 for yourself and a player two, this bundle features an extra DualSense controller for £389.99. Typically, a Digital Edition PS5 Slim and an extra DualSense would set you back £494.98, so while Sony says you’re saving £90, this is even more of a bargain.
PS5 Slim Disc-Edition | £479.99 £434.99 at PS Direct
Save £45 -If you’re a physical game fan, you can grab the disc edition PS5 Slim for £434.99. This is my favorite pick out of the lot, as not only are you saving £45, but with that disc drive, you can take advantage of the massive amount of cheap PS5 games released over the console’s 5-year lifespan.
PS5 Slim Disc-Edition DualSense Bundle | £529.99 £484.99 at PS Direct
Save £45 – Physical game fans with a player two haven’t been forgotten about either, as PS Direct has also dropped the price on this bundle, which comes with an extra DualSense controller for £484.99. Alone, the disc edition is worth £479.99, and the controller retails for £64.99, so regardless of what PS Direct says, you’re actually saving even more than £45 today. Sign me up!
PS5 Slim Disc-Edition PS Plus 24 Month Bundle | £679.99 £634.99 at PS Direct
Save £90 – Autumn Sale or not, this PS5 disc-edition bundle is still pretty pricey even while it’s down to £634.99, but that’s because you’re getting 2 whole years’ worth of PlayStation Plus. That’s 24 months of free monthly games, access to cloud saving and online play, and access to a ton of iconic PS games and classic titles, amongst even more cool benefits.
When do does the PS Direct Autumn Sale end?
The PS Direct Autumn Sale is running from now until on October 1, 2025.
Is the PS Direct Autumn Sale available in the US?
The PS Direct Autumn Sale is only available in the UK for now. However, Sony fans can still check out the US PS Direct to buy consoles, bundles, accessories and more.

Hardware Editor
Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I’ve been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I’m still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
