All hell is breaking loose in Walford next week as Callum Highway prepares for his father Jonno’s funeral in EastEnders . With his husband Ben Mitchell in prison on the other side of the Atlantic, Callum (played by Tony Clay ) has found comfort in Johnny Carter’s arms. The pair have embarked on an illicit relationship but have recently been tempted to live their love out in the open. Now, as Callum prepares to bury his father Jonno, he may be pushed into coming clean. In Coronation Street , Asha Alahan ( Tanisha Gorey ) is trying her hardest to cope but her mental health continues to plummet. Meanwhile, in Emmerdale , Charity ( Emma Atkins ) and Vinny Dingle ( Bradley Johnson ) are cautious not to let their secrets slip. Under pressure from Ross, Charity chases up the results of her paternity test. She feels guilty when she sees an excited Sarah and Jacob over the impending arrival of their child but her guilt increases when Mack plans a spontaneous date. But Chas is suspicious when she finds Charity looking worried in the Woolpack. Charity can’t face telling the truth to anyone else but she soon decides to book a termination. Rhona is still furious about April almost killing her brother and the family soon discuss April’s living arrangements. Marlon’s unsure whether to allow her to move out but a regretful April seems resolute on staying with “friends.” April then confirms with Ray she’ll be taking up the offer of a room. Gabby opens up to vicar Charles and Vinny’s soon taken aback when she arrives home with Charles in tow. She’s asked him to give them some counselling and Vinny finally begins to open up. Vinny and Gabby remain cautious but they’re hopeful for the road ahead – until Gabby walks in on Vinny and Lewis looking close. With Jimmy having flooded the house, he, Nicola and the kids move in with a stunned Laurel. Elsewhere, in her preoccupation with Charity’s troubles, Chas realises she’s neglected Liam’s anxiety surrounding his PSA test results. Bernie tells Dev that she’s worried about Asha. In the shop, Asha drinks from a wine bottle and instructs Brody to mind the shop while she heads out. At the pub, Dev takes a call from Amy – she’s found Asha thanks to Theo. A paramedic tends to Asha and quizzes Deb and Amy as to whether she might have taken drugs in addition to the wine. Tim picks up a fare and instantly recognises a girl he knew back in the 80s – Trisha Pinkerton. Later, Sally is furious to see Tim and Trisha together – but Brian is shocked when Tim admits he was only 14 when he was with Trisha. And she was nearly 20. Everyone gathers for Ronnie’s birthday party but Carl finds himself awkwardly sandwiched between Abi and James. When Alfie knocks over his drink, Abi goes to mop it up and Carl helps. Debbie notes their intimacy and advises Kevin to hire a lawyer as Abi isn’t to be trusted. Unable to hear their conversation, Abi assumes the worst and sends a panicky text to Carl – only to realise she’s sent it to the wrong person. Elsewhere, Todd is keeping a huge secret about his health, and opens up to Billy. Spotting them together, Theo is seething. It’s the day of Jonno’s funeral and Kathy rallies the Mitchell clan to support Callum, who asks Johnny to avoid the funeral to avoid suspicion. The pair kiss, unaware Kathy has seen them. At the cafe, Kathy tells the Mitchells’ about Callum’s actions and they reel to discover his deceit. Stuart arrives, having been persuaded by Johnny as Kathy and the rest of the Mitchells agree to keep the truth from Ben. Callum agrees to come clean after the funeral but he’s shocked when Ben shows up unannounced. Harry and Gina return from their weekend away but Harry’s happiness is short-lived when Kojo collapses in The Arches and he realises he’s still working for Ravi and Okie. Harry attempts to speak to Ravi but is dismissed, prompting him to turn to Teddy for help. Meanwhile, George checks on Kojo after his fall but he’s too overbearing with his concern. Eve and Suki meet for a drink at The Albert but things are off to a rocky start until Eve reveals she wants to adopt a baby. Vicki and Joel argue after he exerts more misogynistic views. Ross tries to handle the situation and a defiant Joel snaps back. Later, an incident at school started by Joel and Tommy brings more trouble to Vicki’s doorstep. Tensions within Grace’s family grow and a row breaks out between Grace and her sister Clare. The pair are embroiled in a fist fight, which Froggy has to break up. Tom finds Peri in the midst of a busy hospital shift and finds out she’s been questioning their relationship. Peri then drops a bombshell on Tom. Meanwhile, Darren suggests holding a public vigil for the families of Jez’ victims. Cleo visits Joel and he tells her he’s being transferred. Elsewhere, Lucas and Dillon are at loggerheads. Nicolette is hopeful when Leo is intrigued by her surrogacy offer. But when he tries to broach the subject with Krista, he’s reminded of their rocky relationship. Max, Taye and Sadie all enjoy a day off but they come close to spotting Holly and Andrew. Karl and Susan try to find the root of Holly’s recent antisocial behaviour but Susan’s attempt quickly backfires. Later, as Felix returns to Erinsborough, walls close in on Andrew. Felix is suspicious of Greg’s influence on Cara. Elsewhere, Paul and Elle team up. Eden makes plans to kick Remi out but Sonny is worried the news could send him on a new spiral. Alf, David and Marilyn spend time with Cohen while Roo confronts Adrian outside his work shed. John organises a dinner with Justin, Leah, Alf and Marilyn but it’s clear he misses Irene. Meanwhile, Bree laments to Jo she’s struggling to live with two couples, prompting her housemates to take action. Mali is growing impatient with Abigail’s lack of cleanliness while Harper and Tane are awkward housemates. Like this story?
