D4vd cancels remainder of US tour as he's investigated for murder of teen Celeste Rivas Hernandez

D4vd has canceled the remainder of his US tour as police investigations continue after a missing teenager was found dead in the trunk of his Tesla.

The singer’s Hollywood Hills home was raided on Thursday as officers probed the death of teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who vanished aged 13 from Lake Elsinore, California, in April last year.

D4vd’s team decided on Thursday to cancel his last two shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles, TMZ confirmed on Friday morning.

The singer, 20, will also not be attending a planned event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the news site added.

He’s still scheduled to perform in Norway on October 1.

It follows D4vd’s music label canceling the release of a deluxe version of his album Withered and other promotional events.

An intimate new picture of the singer and Rivas, who would now be 15 if she was still alive, further suggested the pair were in a relationship.

D4vd and the late teenager are seen sitting together in a green booth at a venue, as a picture flash can be seen in a mirror in the background.

The two appeared to be cozy at the time, as Rivas was seen staring affectionately at the TikTok breakout star.

D4vd was wearing a black shirt with a white spider graphic on the chest (which he was also wearing when he was pictured with singer Billie Eilish in the fall of 2023).

It comes after police raided the singer’s house searching for blood evidence.

Officers were seen leaving the $20,000-a-month Hollywood Hills premises with multiple bags of evidence, as well as a computer.

D4vd has not been formally charged with any violation as of Friday.

The Daily Mail has reached out to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, for further comment.

In an stream from January 2024, Rivas encourages D4vd to answer a question from a viewer.

D4vd reposted a TikTok clip showing a man chopping up lunchmeat, suggesting that was the proper way to deal with a love interest who was ‘talking to other’ people.

The comments section on the clip on TikTok was populated with users pointing out the similarities between the rapper’s fondness for the clip and the ghastly discovery made earlier this month in California.

One user said: ‘This makes me utterly sick watching this, knowing she was found dismembered.

‘Poor girl, justice for Celeste.’

‘Smile guys we’re gonna be in a documentary,’ said one commenter, while another pointed out the musical artist’s social media likes, suggesting to ‘to look at all his timeline in his’ reposts.

In another similar comment referring to society’s true crime obsession, one user wrote: ‘We’re all gonna be on Netflix soon aren’t we.’

Brayan, the content creator who posted the initial chopping video, issued a statement making clear he did not have D4vd in mind when he posted the clip.

‘My TikTok was a satirical joke, referencing a cucumber trend, not related to any current events or public figures,’ Brayan said.

He said the clip had been ‘meant for entertainment purposes at that point in time’ and not was linked to any investigation.

Brayan said of D4vd: ‘I have no idea who bro was until today keep that in mind.’

People online also pointed to a 2022 single and video from the artist titled Romantic Homicide, which featured a dark-haired female who bore a striking resemblance to Rivas.

Internet sleuths also unearthed a song from the artist revealing a potentially game-changing clue in the teenager’s gruesome death in the form of a December 2023 track titled Celeste_Demo unfin.

The lyrics revealed a number of identifying traits Rivas had prior to her death.

The lyrics include: ‘Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes / I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I’m obsessed.’

A subsequent set of lyrics points to what appears to be a romantic relationship the artist is describing with the subject of his song.

They include: ‘Oh, Celeste / Afraid you’ll only love me when undressed / But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress / Missing you so much makes me depressed / But I digress, because.’

It was not immediately clear if D4vd was singing about Rivas in the track.
