Punjab Showcases Investment Opportunities in 'Invest Punjab' Roadshow in Gurugram

Gurugram: The Punjab government successfully organised its first domestic roadshow ‘Invest Punjab’ in Gurugram as part of the run-up to the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026. The day witnessed a series of serious one-to-one business meetings with leading industry captains, followed by an exclusive “Punjab Session” that brought together top entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and policymakers. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led the delegation, accompanied by the Minister for Industries & Commerce and Investment Promotion, Sanjeev Arora; Chief Secretary KAP Sinha; IAS, Administrative Secretary Investment Promotion KK Yadav; IAS Seema Bansal, Vice Chairperson PDC; CEO Invest Punjab IAS Amit Dhaka and other senior officials. Big Businesses Attend Invest Punjab Roadshow During the day, the Punjab delegation engaged with eminent corporates including Hero Cycles, Ralson India, Amber Enterprises, Uno Minda, GMR Airports, DEE Development Engineers, and others, who explored new opportunities in sectors ranging from mobility, electronics, tyres, consumer durables, renewable energy, automotive components, and infrastructure development. Pramod Bhasin, Founder of Genpact and Chairman, Punjab Innovation Mission, also interacted with the delegation along with industry guests. The evening “Punjab Session”, was inaugurated with a presentation on “Advantage Punjab” by CEO Invest Punjab. Eminent business leaders including Priya Paul (Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels), Kamal Oswal (Nahar Group), Anoop Bector (Mrs. Bectors), Sandeep Goyal (Nestle India), Pramod Bhasin, and Shiv Raj Palta (Everise India) shared their experience of operating in Punjab, endorsing the state as a conducive destination for business and growth. CM Bhagwant Mann Projects Punjab As ‘Investor First’ State Addressing the roadshow, CM Bhagwant Mann reiterated Punjab’s commitment to being an investor-first state, assuring industry of transparent governance, world-class infrastructure, and responsive facilitation through Invest Punjab as the state’s unified regulator. Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha emphasised Punjab’s progressive governance model. While Minister Sanjeev Arora highlighted recent reforms, restoration of powers to Invest Punjab, and constitution of 24 sectoral committees to address industry concerns and drive new investments. He said “Punjab is undergoing a transformative phase where industry is at the heart of our policy-making. Our focus is on demand creation, supply facilitation, and employment generation making Punjab one of the most progressive and investor-friendly destinations in India.” The roadshow concluded with an open house discussion and networking dinner, reinforcing Punjab’s positioning as one of India’s most promising investment destinations. The next leg of the domestic roadshow will be held in New Delhi on 30 September 2025.
