Starbucks protein coffee is now available as part of the coffee chain’s menu expansion. The company has launched Protein Lattes and Protein Cold Foam drinks that can be customized in different flavors.Starbucks protein coffee launch detailsStarbucks protein coffee was announced in early September and became available on September 29. The menu offers lattes made with protein-boosted milk and drinks topped with flavored protein-rich cold foam. Customers can customize any hot or iced milk-based beverage with protein milk for $1 or add flavored protein cold foam for $2. Prices may vary depending on the store location.The new menu is part of Starbucks’ strategy to modernize its offerings. Tressie Lieberman, Starbucks global chief brand officer, explained that the new drinks are designed to meet the rising demand for protein-based beverages. It contains 19 grams of protein.Customers may also add Protein Cold Foam to other drinks in flavors including banana, vanilla, sugar-free vanilla, chocolate, matcha, salted caramel, brown sugar, plain unsweetened, and seasonal flavors like pumpkin and pecan.
