The LAPD believes that the body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been there in D4vd’s Tesla for several weeks

In what might mount more trouble for the American singer-songwriter D4vd, a major revelation of the high-profile celebrity case rocking the Hollywood Hills has taken a new turn. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has confirmed to PEOPLE that Celeste Rivas Haenandez, the 14-year-old girl found dead in singer D4vd’s Tesla, had been dead for ‘several weeks’. LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams told the outlet that the body was found inside the car in a Los Angeles parking lot on September 8 even though many questions about Celeste Rivas’ death still remain unanswered. But investigators are still tight-lipped about D4vd’s role in Celeste’s death, the nature of the relationship that he shared with her. The LAPD, however, has not confirmed his level of cooperation. Earlier, reports suggested that the 20-year-old singer D4vd had been staying at an L.A. property with his manager, but that the two moved out days after electronics and more were seized from the home, per the outlet. Williams told PEOPLE that he cannot confirm what was taken from the property.Additionally, speculation has circulated online about the possibility of a relationship between Rivas Hernandez and the “Romantic Homicide” singer as the teen seemingly had a matching “Shhh” tattoo on her right index finger, the Los Angeles Times reported.
