Patrick Mahomes, Wife Brittany React to Record-Breaking News

The Kansas City Chiefs crushed the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 in Week 4, notching their second consecutive win of the season.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 25-of-37 passes for 270 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. This marked Mahomes’ first four-score game since 2023. The Chiefs’ offense received a major boost with wide receiver Xavier Worthy back in the mix. Worthy recorded five receptions for 83 yards along with two carries for 38 yards.
Having Mahomes’ speediest receiver back also opened up the field for Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Tyquan Thornton, each recording a touchdown. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters after the game, “The speed was good. Pat is developing more trust in No. 5 and more trust in No. 80.
“Now, you add No. 1 into the mix, who he’s already got [game] time with. I think that’s important. That just kind of brought it together, and they fed off of each other’s success.”
Mahomes also gave credit to Worthy. “He’s just so explosive,” the three-time Super Bowl MVP said. “When you get the football in his hands, it makes defenses have to adjust. When they adjust, it’s like he gets so much attention on him that other guys can make plays happen. Just having him out there, not just for his physical ability but just the morale of the room, I thought it was huge.”
While the team captain spread the love around to his teammates after the Chiefs’ win, Mahomes broke not just one but two NFL records in Week 4.
Patrick Mahomes, Wife Brittany Mahomes, React To Chiefs QB’s Historic New NFL Records
Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, typically shares photos of herself and the couple’s children at the game on Instagram after a Chiefs win. However, she focused her attention on her husband’s historic new NFL record on Monday, September 29.
Brittany shared the Chiefs’ graphic celebrating Mahomes becoming the fastest player in NFL history to record 250 passing touchdowns (116 games). The mother of three let the post speak for itself, not adding further comment.
As for Mahomes, he reposted a graphic from his agency, Equity Sports, that noted how the 30-year-old quarterback was both the youngest and fastest to record 250 passing touchdowns. The Chiefs star also shared the graphic without a caption.
The two-time league MVP proved he’s still playing at an elite level on Sunday. “Mahomes thrived in the quick-game against the Ravens, completing 17 of 22 for 142 yards & 3 TDs under 2.5 seconds, his most quick TDs since Week 1, 2022,” Next Gen Stats posted. “Mahomes is averaging the 2nd-fastest time to throw among QBs this season (2.53 seconds).”
The Chiefs Face The Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5
With a 2-2 record, Mahomes and the Chiefs have a bit of extra rest heading into Week 5. Next up, the team travels to EverBank Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football. Mahomes looks to carry the momentum of this week’s win into next week.
“It was a good team football game,” Mahomes said after defeating the Ravens. “It wasn’t just offense, it wasn’t just defense or special teams. Everybody came together. That’s what we need the rest of the year.”
Fans can expect to see Brittany at the primetime matchup in Jacksonville. While she missed the season opener in Brazil, she typically travels for Kansas City’s road games, and made it to MetLife Stadium for the Chiefs’ 22-9 win over the New York Giants in Week 3.
