Ideabaaz launches at NSE as India’s first startup-investor marketplace

Ideabaaz, India’s first integrated marketplace connecting startups and investors, was launched today at the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in Mumbai. NSE MD & CEO Ashishkumar Chauhan presided over the launch alongside business leaders and investors.

The platform aims to democratize access to capital and mentorship, with a focus on startups in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Ideabaaz will provide startups with access to investors, professional services including legal and accounting support, mentorship from industry leaders, and transparent quarterly tracking systems.

The launch is complemented by an entrepreneurial reality show that will air on Zee TV and stream on Zee5, hosted by actor Pratik Gandhi. The show will be dubbed in multiple regional languages for nationwide reach.

Ten prominent investors will participate in the platform, including Rishabh Mariwala of Sharrp Ventures, Anupam Bansal of Liberty Shoes, Shaili Chopra of SheThePeople, Arjun Vaidya of V3 Ventures, and Priyanka Salot of The Sleep Company, among others.

“Our mission is simple—to bridge the gap between startups and investors, while providing the tools and ecosystem support required to scale,” said Jeet Wagh, Founder & CEO of Ideabaaz.

The platform has partnered with IIT Madras as its Knowledge Partner and Turbo Start as Strategic Partner. Raj Nayak serves as Mentor, Investor, and Chief Curator of the initiative.
