Griffith set out his optimistic vision for the UK, calling for politicians and businesses to work together to ensure the West Midlands and the UK achieve their potential. He also spoke of the importance of industry in the West Midlands.
Griffith said of the event held at Richardson HQ on Friday September 26: “It was brilliant to speak at the Richardson family business in Oldbury and to meet with a number of local business leaders from the Black Country and West Midlands.
“The world wants what the West Midlands makes. My team and I want to work as closely as possible with the region as we fight for British business and developing an ambitious growth agenda for the Conservatives’ return to government.”
Martyn Richardson said: “We are extremely grateful to Andrew for spending the time with us and business leaders from the region.
“We see it as really important that political leaders hear from local businesses about the challenges they are facing, so that they can take that back to Westminster and inform their policy”.
The Richardson family business says it continues to seek management teams with strategic vision and drive, whether based in the UK or further afield, by bringing capital to underpin growth.
