Jenna Ortega’s 2025 Emmys motto? Go bold or go home.
And that’s exactly what the “Wednesday” star did as she arrived at the Sept. 14 ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, where she is scheduled to present an award, in quite the daring red carpet look.
For the occasion, the actress — who was previously nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her titular role as Wednesday Addams at the 2023 Emmys — stepped out in a midriff-baring top consisting of large, multi-colored jewels that left little to the imagination. She completed the ensemble with a floor-length black skirt and matching heels, along with a dark red lipstick.
Along with Ortega, other stars slated to present during the award show — hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze — include Angela Bassett, Ike Barinholtz, Tina Fey, Eric Dane, Walton Goggins and Sofia Vergara.
Ortega, 22, is no stranger to bold red carpet looks, having channeled her character’s eerie aesthetic on numerous occasions including throughout the Netflix series’ season two press tour this summer. In fact, the actress previously discussed how Wednesday’s unsettling vibe has progressively become more instinctive to her, even outside of fashion.

“I definitely feel like I have a bit more Gothic taste than I did when I was a teenager,” Ortega said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in May. “I’ve always been into dark things or been fascinated by them, but I was a Disney kid, and the whole thing is being bubbly and kind and overly sweet.”
However, she noted that she only identifies with the fictional teen to a point.
“It’s like how you’re dressed in the schoolgirl costume,” she went on. “There’s just something about it that’s very patronizing. Also, when you’re short, people are already physically looking down on you.”
