'I've Become Like Rohit': Suryakumar Yadav Makes Hilarious Confession At Toss

The Indian men’s cricket team are taking on Oman in their third Group A match of the Asia Cup 2025. The match is taking place at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bat first. Team India have made a couple of changes to the playing XI for Friday’s match against Oman. Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and world No. 1 T20I bowler Varun Chakaravarthy are not playing, and they are replaced by Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh.
During the toss, Surya mentioned Harshit’s name but forgot the other change. He tried to recall the other change but wasn’t able to recollect, and then he said, “We have two changes – Harshit comes in and there’s one more guy…Oh my god… I have become like Rohit (laughs). Let me see… Harshit yaa… I think we have two changes.”
The clip of Surya’s epic brainfade moment at the toss is now going viral on the internet.

Rohit, who is India’s ODI captain, is known for forgetting things. On numerous occasions at the toss in the past, he forgot to remember the changes.
During the match against Oman, Arshdeep, who is India’s highest wicket-taker in T20Is, will have a chance to become the first Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in T20Is. As of now, the left-arm pacer from Punjab has 99 wickets to his name in 63 matches. He needs one more wicket to join the 100-wicket club. If Arshdeep manages to take his 100th T20I wicket on Friday, then he will also become the fastest pacer in the world to take 100 wickets in T20Is. As of now the record is in the name of Rizwan Butt of Bahrain. Butt picked up his 100th wicket in the 66th match.
