PICS: Glam Munster rugby WAGs up the style stakes for 2025 awards

The Munster rugby team swapped their kits for suits recently, but it was their glamorous other halves who scored all the points in the style stakes.

In September, the side celebrated at the Munster Rugby Awards at the Strand Hotel in Limerick and the women didn’t hold back with their fashion.

Calvin Nash’s partner Ciara O’Brien led the ladies on the night in a floor-length black dress with a split black and white skirt.

The design has proved popular with style lovers over recent months, with fellow rugby wag Sophie van der Flier wearing it in Rome during the Ireland side’s Six Nations campaign.

It appears to be the Paloma Gown by Arcina Ori, which is currently available to rent on the Irish fashion rental site Drobey.

Also looking fabulous at the awards was Aisling Kleyn, who is married to player Jean, and opted for a blue dress with a ruched front and shoulder detailing.

Aisling’s dress is the Deme by Gabrielle dress, which she hired from Jaguar Blue Dress Hire, and styled with a chunky gold bangle and earrings.

Jack Crowley’s partner Erin O’Connell, with whom he went Instagram offical with in February, also opted for a floor-length number and rocked a white column dress on the night.

Erin kept her accessories to a minimum, adding a dainty gold necklace to complete her look, and beamed for smiles with her dapper partner at the Awards.

Newlywed Lucy Halstead, who tied the knot with Munster ace Mike Haley in July, also caught the eye on the night in an off-the-shoulder green dress.

Lucy’s dress featured a sparkling pattern throughout the material and she accessorised with a gold bow handbag that appeared to be by bridal favourite brand Loeffler Randall.

Another couple looking their best at the Munster Awards was Jeremy Loughman and his long-time love Lucy Johnson.

Lucy wore the Hansen & Gretel Audrey Gown from rental site Adorn for the big night.

The Munster Rugby Awards saw several players honoured for their contributions over the last season with new dad Tom Farrell taking home the Bank of Ireland Men’s Player of the Year gong.

Tom made the switch to Munster from Connacht last summer and was also named one of the Virgin Media Supporters’ Players of the Year alongside Caitríona Finn.

Chloe Pearse, who captained Munster during the 2024/25 Interpros and announced her retirement from provincial rugby in August, was named the Women’s Player of the Year.
