    Coronation Street Becky Swain's other child on cobbles 'unveiled' and Betsy will be floored

    Coronation Street viewers are speculating that Becky Swain, played by Amy Cudden, has another daughter who is already known to fans.

    Becky made her first appearance on the ITV soap this month as Lisa Swain’s (Vicky Myers) supposedly deceased wife. The police officer was reportedly killed in 2021 after being hit by a car while pursuing a suspect.

    Since then, Lisa and their daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) have been trying to move forward, despite still mourning Becky’s loss. Last month saw Lisa become engaged to Carla Connor (Alison King), with everything appearing to be going swimmingly for the loved-up pair.

    However, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that Becky is actually alive, making her dramatic return last week, much to Lisa’s astonishment.

    Becky explained that she ‘had to die’ in order to enter witness protection following a botched undercover operation, reports the Daily Star.

    Despite Lisa’s wishes to keep Betsy in the dark, the teenager eventually found out that her mum had been alive all along, leaving her overwhelmed with emotion.

    In Friday’s episode (19 September), Becky was at Lisa and Carla’s house, but an emotional Betsy told her she didn’t want to see her for the time being.

    Moreover, later in the episode, it seemed that Becky was still keeping a significant secret from Lisa. When questioned by her ex about the witness protection paperwork, Becky evaded the question and appeared uncomfortable, leaving Lisa suspicious.

    And now, viewers are also certain that Becky still has several more skeletons in her cupboard in a shocking secret child twist.

    On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one person said; “How long is Becky staying? If Betsy doesn’t want anything to do with her then there is no point her sticking around.” Someone else then put forward their theory: “She has another kid. You heard it here first.”

    A third then suggested Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). They wrote: “Lauren?” Another also mused: “Lauren.” A fifth penned: “I wound low-key love this because then we’d get more Betsy and Lauren scenes.”
