Two people were violently thrown from a McLaren sports car that went flying over a guardrail and caught fire on I-495 in Fairfax County, Virginia.
It started around 10:52 p.m. on Sunday, when Virginia State Police (VSP) troopers were alerted to several cars, including a McLaren 720S driving recklessly on I-495 near Braddock Road. The McLaren allegedly struck something on the interstate and went over the guardrail before crashing on South Van Dorn Street and catching fire, troopers said.
Both people inside the sports car were ejected during the crash. Two troopers were able to pull one of the passengers who was near the burning McLaren to safety.
