UGREEN's 'world's first' Qi2.2 25W MagSafe power bank with USB-C cable has become my go-to portable charger [Deal]

There’s no shortage of MagSafe power banks out there these days, but this UGREEN 10,000mAh MagFlow model stands out for a big reason – it’s the world’s first Qi2.2-certified 25W portable charger. Even now – a couple of months after its debut – there aren’t many 25W Qi2 power banks readily available on the market, which makes this unit all the more remarkable. I’ve been carrying it as part of my EDC for a couple of weeks, and it’s quickly become my everyday go-to. Here’s everything you need to know about it in case you’re planning to pick one of these up.

9to5Toys’ Take
UGREEN’s refreshed MagFlow lineup introduces new Qi2.2-certified 25W chargers, all of which now come in a sleek blue finish. The MagFlow 10,000mAh power bank highlighted here has a fairly simple yet practical design, featuring a built-in USB-C cable that doubles as a lanyard, a compact real-time battery display, an extra USB-C port for charging a second device, and a 25W MagSafe-ready wireless charging pad on the back. The charging surface itself has a textured silicone layer for grip, while the outer shell sports a smooth metallic finish. The built-in cable deserves a mention too, as it has a woven-style texture and, according to UGREEN, is a military-grade cord tested to withstand over 10,000 bends.
It’s clear that UGREEN isn’t aiming to make the thinnest or lightest power bank here – models like Anker’s ultra-slim 0.5-inch 5,000mAh Nano still hold that title. What this MagFlow unit does deliver, though, is fast charging speeds and versatility. In fact, it’s easily one of the most powerful and reliable power banks I’ve used for charging my iPhone so far.
I used the MagFlow Qi2 25W power bank with my iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 26, so I was able to tap into the phone’s 25W wireless charging speeds. I snapped the power bank to my phone at 5% and it was able to take it to 55% just over 40 minutes. The charging speeds here, I’d say, depend largely on multiple factors, including the ambient temperature, whether you’re using the phone while charging, etc., but it’s safe to say that you can expect faster charging speeds if you’re coming from one of the Qi2 15W models. I say that because the ESR Qi2 15W 10,000mAh power bank I was using before switching to the MagFlow model used to take close to – sometimes even upwards of – an hour to reach 50% power.
It is, however, worth noting that the power bank will lose significantly more charge while charging your device wirelessly, and the battery pack dropped to 66% from 92% after pumping 50% charge to my iPhone 16 Pro. That’s exactly why I found myself relying on the built-in USB-C cable more when charging on the go. In just 30 minutes, it boosted my phone from 5% to 47% – which is pretty quick. The best part? It didn’t waste too much charge in the process either, and neither the power bank nor the phone got nearly as hot to touch like it does while charging wirelessly. I also like that I can snap the power bank onto the phone to keep it secure while using wired charging. The charger is smart enough to deliver power only through the cable instead of the wireless charging pad when plugged in, even if the phone is magnetically attached.
What’s also particularly good about this power bank is its ability to charge three devices at once. I usually top up my iPhone wirelessly with the Qi2.2-certified pad, my AirPods case using the built-in USB-C cable, and my Apple Watch through the extra USB-C port. Even if it’s just for a quick boost, being able to keep all three devices going on the move has made this power bank a no-brainer for me to carry.
One thing I wish UGREEN had done differently, though, is include a larger display. The current screen only shows the remaining charge and a couple of icons for wireless or fast wired charging. A slightly bigger display with details like the exact power output to the phone or input from a charging brick would’ve made it much easier to understand the charging speeds this power bank delivers.
All things considered, the UGREEN MagFlow Qi2 25W power bank would be a solid pick if you’re shopping for a fast, on-the-go charger. It handles both wired and wireless charging with ease, and its Qi2.2-certified 25W pad sets it apart from most options on the market, at least for now. I do wish it were a bit slimmer and had a larger display for more detailed metrics, but overall, it’s a good option to pick if you’re looking to swap out your old power bank for this new Qi2 25W model for quick, reliable top-ups – whether wired or wireless.
