Barcelona, September 29 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has advocated cultural diversity during its active engagement in the Mondiacult 2025 Conference, currently underway in Barcelona, Spain.

The event runs through October 1, with wide international representation from ministers of culture, international organizations, and cultural experts.

Addressing the opening session, HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Dr. Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Ali, said Qatar’s participation reflects its commitment to global efforts aimed at safeguarding cultural diversity and promoting equitable access to cultural resources and opportunities.

Organized under the theme of strengthening international cooperation in the cultural sector, the conference focuses on policies that position culture as a fundamental human right and a cornerstone of sustainable development, peace, and global understanding.

Qatar’s presence at the event underscores its ongoing support for international initiatives that promote intercultural dialogue and affirm culture’s role as a unifying force for development.
