KTR’s ‘insulting’ remarks on CM reflect his frustration: Mallu Ravi

Nagar Kurnool MP Mallu Ravi lambasted Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao for making ‘irresponsible’ comments about the Chief Minister during a recent Achampet meeting, and said it reflected the ‘frustration’ of losing all the elections.

“After being ousted from power and rejected by people in Parliament polls, the BRS has still not changed its ways. Instead of insulting the CM, they should answer why they failed to deliver two-bedroom houses despite promising them for a decade,” he said.

“In contrast, in just 18 months, we sanctioned 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses, provided free bus travel, subsidised cooking gas and created 65,000 jobs through TGPSC,” Mr. Ravi said.

The MP also accused BRS leaders of playing politics over reservations. “Despite all their criticism, the 42% BC quota is being implemented only now, with the Congress government showing sincerity. Those who once said the CM lacked commitment to reservations should admit their mistake and apologise,” he demanded.

Mr. Ravi termed Kaleshwaram a ‘scam-ridden blunder’ that betrayed people’s trust and appealed to voters to judge the track record of both parties.
