Amazon has cut the price of an “outstanding” smartwatch that shoppers have praised as “exceptional quality.” The retailer has reduced the price of the OUKITEL Smart Watch to £29.99, a significant drop from its original price of £139.99.

The watch, boasting a 1.43″ AMOLED screen, offers 100 customisable watch faces to select from. It also comes equipped with Bluetooth, call handling, message notifications, heart rate and sleep tracking, a step counter and over 100 sports modes.

According to Amazon, the watch possesses a long battery life, allowing shoppers to use the product “without the bother of frequent charging. ” The watch can last up to 30 days in standby mode, 20 days in power-saving mode and 7 days of regular usage.

Alternatively, Currys is offering the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 for £59.99, while Sekonda has the Sekonda Connect Smart Watch available for £89.99. Boots also stocks the Garmin Vívomove Sport Smartwatch for £179.

The OUKITEL Smart Watch has garnered a 4.8 star rating online, with numerous glowing reviews from impressed customers. Among them, one person said: “Outstanding. The watch looks very nice. It comes with a nice case which helps me work out and learn to tell time.

“I am excited to wear it every day. The price is affordable but well made. Lots and lots of features for the price,” reports the Daily Record.

A second wrote: “Stylish appearance. This smartwatch is exactly what I wanted! It’s easy to use, stylish looking, very good quality, the screen is exceptionally clear, love my watch, all in all, it’s a great smartwatch at a great price. Highly recommended!”

Another added: “Easy to use. Good value for money and overall looks great. Works great and matches the picture. It’s a great looking watch with great features. The call sound quality is excellent. Great for an active lifestyle. Comfortable to wear. Not a bad choice.”

However, some customers noticed a few issues upon receiving the product. One person wrote: “Nice watch, useless for notifications. Shows a notifications option screen but one isn’t on the app or the watch and the customer service doesn’t respond. The watch only notifies for calls and texts, no other apps.”

Despite this, others continued to sing the watch’s praises. A pleased shopper said: “Perfect. I’m already really enjoying the features that I’ve already tried. I think it’s great for work and for leisure. I give it 10 out of 10 for price and quality.
