    MPD arrests in Manila pusher based in Cavite

    A drug pusher based in Cavite was arrested by the Manila Police District – Police Station 11 operatives during an operation conducted at the corner of Rizal Avenue and Katubusan Street in Barangay 304, Sta. Cruz, Manila the other night.

    The MPD-PS 11 carried out the buy-bust operation at around 10:30 p.m. after a confidential informant tipped off the police regarding the suspect’s illicit activities.

    Police confiscated from the suspect, identified as Surab Meto, 33, of Molino II, Sampaguita St., Cavite City around 1.2 kilos of shabu with a street value of P6.9 million.

    Meanwhile, charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed by the police before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office against the suspect.
